As a former full-time Director of Photography for the National Geographic
Channel, I have traveled the world in order to bring back award winning images.
Now I've started my own company, Chuck Walter Productions, to provide
professional video production services in the San Francisco-Northern California
area and wherever your shoot may be.
- In 2007 I received the prestigious Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University
journalism award for my work on PBS's "War Stories from Ward 7-D".
My work in documentary, sports, magazine format and lighting have also
earned me numerous White House News Photographers Association
awards.
- Knowledgeable in all facets of television production, from hard news and
liveshots to documentaries, PR, promos, sports, VNR's and commercial
projects. I've filmed everything from camel trains in the Sahara to White
House interviews.
- Years of experience shooting with many video formats from Hi-Def  to
Betacam sp. I have also shot projects in HDV, mini dv, Digibeta, Sony
IMX, 16x9, 24p, and all DVCPRO formats.
